FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers about contract management: simple electronic signature, templates, block-level negotiation, signing reminders, archive and expiry radar.
Account, subscriptions and payment
What do I need to get started?
Just an account. Pick a template from the library, fill in the fields, generate the contract as a PDF, negotiate it if needed and send it for signing through a link. One account works across all applications of the 4b2b ecosystem.
How much does it cost and what is included?
Plans are monthly: Start 1 EUR (10 contracts), Plus 2 EUR (50 contracts), Pro 4 EUR (100 contracts) and Premium 8 EUR (unlimited contracts). The first 6 months are free, with no card and no yearly commitment. Prices are in euro; an account from Romania pays in lei at the BNR rate of the day plus 5 %. Simple electronic signature is available on every plan.
Can I upgrade from one plan to another?
Yes. You can move to a higher plan at any time from your account, for example when you need more contracts.
What payment methods do you support?
Card or bank transfer. Plans are billed monthly and start with 6 months free, no card needed.
How do I get help with a question?
Write to us at any time through the contact page. The 4b2b team answers questions about your account, plans and usage.
Electronic signature and evidence
Is the electronic signature legally valid?
The platform uses a simple electronic signature: the signer draws it, types it or uploads an image and gives consent, and the system stores the IP address, the time of signing and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the document. Under Article 25 of the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014, an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence in court solely because it is in electronic form; its actual evidentiary weight is assessed by the court case by case.
What is the difference between simple, advanced and qualified signatures?
Under eIDAS, a simple signature is any electronic data attached to a document in order to sign it. An advanced signature (AdES) identifies the signer and detects later changes, while a qualified signature (QES) relies on a qualified certificate and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. 4mycontracts.net provides simple electronic signatures. If a document requires a qualified signature, you apply it through a qualified provider and upload the already signed PDF to your account.
What is recorded for each signature?
For each signature we keep the IP address, the time of signing, the consent and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the document, and a Certificate of signatures is generated as a PDF. The contract’s events stay in its history.
Does the counterparty need an account to sign?
No. You send a secure signing link and the counterparty signs directly in the browser, with no account and no install. It works on desktop and mobile.
Can I upload a PDF that was signed outside the platform?
Yes. You can upload an externally signed PDF, for example one carrying a qualified signature obtained from a qualified provider, and keep it in the archive together with the rest of the contract history.
How can I check whether a signed document was changed?
The SHA-256 fingerprint of the document is stored at signing. If the file changes later, the fingerprint no longer matches the recorded one, and the Certificate of signatures lets you compare.
Can I send a contract to several signatories? What if one does not respond?
Yes. A contract can have several signatories, each signs through their own link, and those who have not signed yet receive reminders. In the contract you see who has signed and who still has to.
Templates, negotiation and signing
Which contract templates are available?
The library holds dozens of contract templates, mostly under Romanian law: commercial, HR, real estate, construction, consulting and education contracts. You pick a template, fill in the variable fields (parties, amounts, deadlines) and generate the PDF. Drafting is template-based, without automatic text generation.
How do I negotiate a contract with the other side?
Each side can propose changes on blocks of text, and you compare versions and accept or reject proposals, including partially. Changes are made by people; there are no automatic suggestions. Once the parties agree, the contract moves to review and then to signing.
How does the review and signing flow work?
A contract goes through drafting, review, signing and archiving, and its status is visible in your account. The signing link goes out to the signatories once the review is complete.
Archive, expiry and data
Where are my contracts kept?
Contracts stay in your account archive, each with its event history. Data is hosted on 4b2b infrastructure in the European Union.
How do I keep track of contract expiry?
The panel has an expiry radar: contracts expiring in the coming days, based on the end date or term, plus an “expires in 30 days” filter. The notice-period calculators on the site are informational pages and do not read the clause in your contract.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes. You can request deletion or anonymisation of your personal data in line with the GDPR.
Is there a referral programme?
Yes. Affiliate programme with a unique referral code. You earn recurring monthly commissions (15% of the invitee’s subscription, for the subscription lifetime) for every new customer who picks 4mycontracts.net on your recommendation.
